1. What does the title of this book mean to you - “What if everybody said that?”
2. One page of the book says that nobody likes being left out. Have you ever been left out? How did that feel? 
3. Has anyone ever criticized your artwork? If you don’t like someone’s artwork, is it okay to say you don’t like it? Why or why not? 
4. Why is it wrong to pretend you need help when you’re swimming in a public place?
5. What would it be like if everyone wanted to be first to talk? Get someone to experiment with you. The two of you start to talk at the same time and don’t stop to listen. What happens? 
6. Is it okay to say mean things about other kids? Why or why not? 
7. When someone is sick or hurt, what words can you use to help them feel better? 
8. What if a team of sore losers decided to quit their soccer game? How would everyone feel? What if they decided to keep trying, how would they feel? 
9. Has anyone ever said to you, “I don’t want to play with you”? How did that feel? 
10. What if everybody said good things to each other? Would you like to live in a place like that?
