About the Story
Louis is a boy who loves anything to do with outer space. His teacher points out that he may know a lot about outer space, but he has a problem with personal space. The school principal guides Louis and other students in activities that teach about personal space - the space everyone needs in order to feel comfortable. Students learn helpful terms like “comfort bubble” - the space around a person in which they feel safe. They learn that their comfort bubble differs, according to who is around them. When we are in a shared space, we need to be aware and respectful. The activities in this story are lots of fun and easy to do with young children!
