Summary:

Kid President presents a checklist that helps viewers understand how to make friends. He goes through the checklist with a potential new friend, asking her questions, listening to her responses, and recording results on his checklist. He starts out by saying it’s okay to feel awkward at first - keep in mind that when you make an effort and try  out some of these tips, you’ll be able to make friends more easily. 

Lesson Objectives: 

1. Teacher reviews the checklist about making friends and has students pair up and practice asking getting-to-know-you questions.
2. Students feel more confident in initiating conversations with others and maintaining friendships that already exist.
