Summary:
Emma and Emmanuel’s superpower is empathy. It means “caring about someone else’s feelings and wanting to lend a hand.” Readers are encouraged to practice empathy by asking two questions: “how would I feel if that happened to me and what would make me feel better?” There are so many ways to show you care, and this book gives lots of excellent relatable examples.

8. Emmanual was able to imagine that Luke was hungry since he had only a bag of chips. Have you ever shared food with someone else because you thought they might be hungry? How did that make you feel?

10. Not everyone is the same when it comes to being able to read or do math, and sometimes a person might feel embarrassed about making mistakes. Has anyone ever told you that it’s okay to make mistakes when you’re learning something? Did they offer to help you? How did it feel?
