Definition: Integrity means being honest, and responsible and respectful all the time, whether or not people can see what you’re doing. In short: Do the right thing, even when no one's looking. Summary: Fred the Grizzly Bear who wins the Best Bear contest every year, encounters an opponent, Boris Bear who is determined to beat Fred. Boris is so greedy for the prize, he steals Fred’s grrrrr. Before this happened, Fred didn’t have any friends because he was so focused on developing his talents. Now, the forest animals befriend Fred - they rally to look for Fred’s lost grrrrr, but it’s nowhere to be found. The contest begins - who wins? Even though Boris’s cheating is discovered during the competition, all is forgiven and the two bears become great friends! Lesson Objectives:

Students talk about cheating, what it is and why it’s not good. They also discuss friendship, and why that’s more important than winning.
