Summary:
There are some things in life that we all share, like the stars that light up the night sky. Mole loves the stars so much that when given the opportunity, he collects and hoards them in his underground home. Eventually Mole feels remorse when he finds out that all the other animals in the forest miss the stars. Finally he gets his wish to put them back so they can be enjoyed by everyone. Families, communities, and the world are made up of individuals, and what one person does affects others. Therefore, each of us needs to act thoughtfully and responsibly, in consideration of others.

1. What can you say about where Mole lives?
2. Why does Mole decide to take the stars out of the sky?

5. Why did Mole tell the shooting star that he wished he had never taken the stars out of the sky? 
6. What happened when Mole was given the opportunity to put back the stars? Did anyone help him? 
7. What are some of the things your parents do in the morning to help you? During the day? At night? On the weekends? 
8. Have you ever looked at the stars at night through a telescope? If so, what did you see? Do you like to look at the moon and stars at night? If you haven’t, ask your family to help you.
