About the Story
Noodle is always making mistakes that he says are not his fault. He feels like everyone picks on him and he always gets blamed. At the end of a disastrous day when Noodle gets into a lot of trouble, he talks with his teacher. She encourages him to look forward to the next day because it’s brand new and filled with good possibilities. Noodle shares about his day when he gets home, and his mom points out that it’s not important who’s fault it is - what’s really important is whose responsibility it is. She tells him that whenever you make a mistake, instead of blaming someone else, own it, learn from it, and show the world how much you know. Noodle is rewarded when he practices this good advice the next day at school.
