Explain that learning how to be responsible can be lots of fun especially when you do it together: “Scouting is an international organization for boys and girls. Many communities around the world have scouting programs that you can join. If we don’t have one here, we can look into what it takes to start one. This video will show you some interviews from kids who are involved in scouting programs, and why they like it so much. We’ll talk about what we heard and I’ll try to answer any questions you have, and if I can’t answer your questions, I’ll look for someone in our community who can tell us more.” Show the video. Lead a discussion and try to provide more information about how kids can find out more.
